The 32nd Gold Coast Airport Marathon in July 2010 is a Marathon, a Half Marathon, a 10km Run, a 5km Challenge and Junior Dash races over 4km and 2.25km for the kids. A number of 23,000 participants of all ages is expected.

Queensland Half Marathon

The day’s events will be made up of the Half Marathon (21.1 km), the Doomben 10,000 (10 km), 5km fun run and the Doomben Cup (2.5 km walk). Doomben, Brisbane's oldest racecourse, will provide the perfect backdrop for an exciting carnival atmosphere.

This is the 9th International Women’s Day Fun Run! The 2009 event attracted record numbers with more than 6,500 participants. The 5 km run/walk starts (7am) and finishes in the Cultural Forecourt, South Bank Parklands. Race categories include 5km Individual Walkers, 5km Individual Runners (eight age categories) and 5km Corporate Teams as well as a School’'s Trophy and Best Dressed Team prizes.
