Helpful tips for you to boost your health and get in shape:
- Be active everyday!
You don't need to workout for hours. Every little bit of exercise helps even getting up to change the TV channel instead of using the remote.
- Climb some stairs!
instead of the lift or escalator.
- Find an exercise you enjoy!
Everyone has their preferences.
Then you might actually find some fun in being active.
- Get your legs moving!
Park your car a block away from work and walk the rest
- Cut the fat!
Think twice before you get fast food. There is always a better option. Also try to buy low fat products, e.g. for milk, cheese, butter, mayonnaise...
- Get out and about!
Use the weekend to have a long
walk at the beach or play some frisbee in the park
- Drink enough water!
Keeping hydrated is important. If you don't you
will feel tired and will probably get a headache.
- Try to have your biggest meal at the start of the day (breakfast)!
And have smaller
meals as the day goes on. Also try to vary your meals to get the full range of nutrients and minerals.
- Try to have 6 meals a day!
This will keep your metabolism going. Have fruit and nuts
for snacks. Also include vegetables in your meals. Fruits after a meal also helps your digestion.
- Sleep for at least 8 hours!
It is scientifically proven that a lack of sleep slows down your metabolism.
